Aloha,
What started out as a 10th grade school project for biology class has turned into a career that has allowed John to travel the world and make a living doing something he loves. As a graduate of the famous Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, Calif., John has a delicate focus and understanding of light and how it can flatter a subject. Initially starting his career doing Commercial /Advertising assignments, John later moved into Weddings and Family Portraits. When asked what he is most passionate about he simply said, “My passion and desire is to make people look their best while allowing them to be themselves. My career in photography has given me the opportunity to meet people of all walks of life and have so many memorable experiences. We are all so different, yet so much the same!”
Josh & Elise- Ritz-Carlton Maui Wedding-Part I
Recently, Josh & Elise had a fantastic gathering of friends and family to witness the tying of their nuptials at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. Guests were treated to a lively whale watch the evening before by the grooms mom with the weather, seas, and whales cooperated nicely. The following day everyone got all “prettied up” and they had a gorgeous afternoon for the ceremony and sunset. Dinner arrangements, as one would expect from the Ritz-Carlton, were first class and one of the prettiest sets I have ever seen. The dinner & reception was both relaxed yet lively once the dance music started. Enjoy a small sample of there Grand Gala (patience might be needed as images load):

The Barton family was back on Maui recently. They are frequent visitors to Maui and it is always great to see how the family is growing and evolving. Weather conditions were fantastic, and as you’ll see below the boys were full of energy. Enjoy!

Recently Michele & Derek, who were guest at the Four Season’s Maui Resort, tied their Wedding Knot at one of Maui’s popular beaches. We used the Maui Fours Season’s property for Pre-Wedding images, which was an added bonus as they had no events that day. They were then whisked off ,via Limo, to their private beach location for their ceremony and sunset session. Afterwards, they returned to the Maui Four Season resort for a romantic dinner under the stars overlooking the tranquil ocean. Enjoy the below snip-it of images from their event.
